Better tensile strength, smoother fluidity and printing without clogging.
ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene) is the grandfather of home 3D printing filaments. For best results, ABS requires a heated bed and preferably an enclosed printing environment. ABS has a higher resistance to heat and starts to soften at around 105º C. For this reason, 3D printed objects used in outdoor or higher heat applications tend to stand up better when printed from ABS Filament.
One of the downsides to printing with ABS is the strong smell while it prints. While it doesn’t bother most people, some people may have issues with printing with ABS in confined spaces. We recommend printing in a well-ventilated room. Original series ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene) thermoplastic filament is a premium-grade material that is well suited for more detailed and demanding 3D prints. It is strong and durable and can also be used conjointly with our Dissolvable filament.
Less warping
Less extrusion temperature
Better adhesion to a build plate
Material is guaranteed free from common issues such as bubbles, concave/convex dots, and dirt
Although smoke and odour levels are low, ABS filaments must be used in a well-ventilated area
