Hybrid Blue Laser & LED Light

Innovatively integrated with dual blue LED light and blue laser, improves scanning materials adaptability with less limitation for a wider range of applications. LED light scanning allows rapid 3D scanning. Laser scanning, which is less sensitive to ambient light, gives better performance to reflective and dark color surface.

The EinScan HX offers quite a large single-scan range. In rapid mode, it works within a 200mm-700mm depth of field and provides a 420mm*440mm FOV with a point distance between 0.25 mm – 3 mm. For laser mode, there is an outstanding 350mm-610mm depth of field along with a max FOV of 380mm*400mm and 0.05mm – 3mm point distance.

Software

The EinScan HX comes with a proprietary ExScan Pro software solution. It is a professional software for 3D scanning and data processing that offers a variety of advanced options for data editing. For instance, it features such data editing tools as smoothing, simplification, manual and automatic hole filling, and sharpening.

Moreover, the scanner is supplied with the Solid Edge SHINING 3D Edition. It is a 3D design software that can be used to assist with reverse engineering, generative design, convergent and synchronous modeling.

For mesh editing, we strongly recommend acquiring the Geomagic Essentials software for its many tools to analyze and clean mesh data. Scan data is often-times imperfect, meaning there might be holes and imperfections in the data that you’ll be scratching your head on how to fix. The ExScan software and SolidEdge does have a toolkit for fixing meshes but it is not as extensive or automatic as the tools in Geomagic Essentials. You will save a lot of time with the full Scan to CAD process with Geomagic Essentials in between, not to mention it is much more effective at working with large-sized files. The standard CAD software suites such as Solidworks, Autodesk Inventor, etc. tend to have problems with large-sized mesh files.

With the inbuilt color camera, the scanner supports full-color texture as well as capturing and tracking by texture.

HIGH SPEED & ACCURACY

The scanner is capable of scanning most objects within a few minutes. The processing speed of the EinScan HX in rapid scan mode is up to 1,200,000 points per second at 20 fps and up to 480,000 points/s in laser scan mode (55 fps). With a minimum point distance of 0.05mm in laser mode, the scanner can achieve an accuracy of 0.04 mm – meeting most industrial application requirements.
